At Earl Marriott we will strive to host the best possible school events for students, friends, and families to enjoy celebrating everyone’s successes.

We would like to thank the excellent officials, game directors, minor officials, staff and students that contributed to the best possible experiences for all the teams involved.

This year will be our 50th Anniversary at EMS which has included years of traditions and successful school programs including scholastic achievements, performing arts and all levels and disciplines of athletics.  We look forward to inviting all our alumni and former staff and families to help celebrate Mariners past and present.

It was an honour to host the Grade 9 Boys Provincial Championships and we look forward to welcoming the great basketball fans of our province again!

From Co-Host – ELGIN PARK

Over the past few years Elgin Park has been growing its boys basketball program. During this time, many of our teams have made provincials at all grade levels. One of the greatest experiences has been participating in the Gr 9 Boys Provincial Championships.

Naturally, we were very excited to take the opportunity to co-host this years event along with our neighbour Earl Marriott.

Over the course of the weekend we witnessed some amazing basketball, quality sportsmanship, fantastic school spirit and joyous camaraderie

We could not have put on this event without the help of a number of amazing volunteers. Thank you to Ms Laura Villeneuve, Ms Lee Cross and Ms Carrie Gaskin for the time and effort spent helping organize and run the weekend.  Thank you to the parents of our teams for helping run the gate and concession. A big thank you to our students who ran the concession and did an amazing job at the scorers table. And thank you for the support of our awesome admin team, led by Principal, Ms Kavita Sharma.

We had a great time hosting and hope that everyone involved enjoyed the weekend as much as we did. Congratulations everyone!
