Saturday March 5 Elimination Round at Semiahmoo and Earl Marriot
9:00 am Gym opens at Semi and checkin begins.
Games all day with eliminations occurring during the day until 4 teams are left.
NOTE: The day may be long subject to the number of entrants.
The Final Four teams are then seeded for the next day Championship.
Sunday March 6 Championship Round at Semiahmoo
1:30 Checkin for the Final Four teams.
2:45 On the main court at the same time #1 Seed vs #4 Seed and #1 Seed vs #4 Seed.
3:00 On the main court at the same time Winner#1 vs Winner#2 and Loser#1 vs Loser#2.
3×3 Awards immediately after the end of the 3:00 game.
3×3 Details
1. No entry fee. We guarantee space for the first 50 teams. Register soon.
2. $500 Scholarship to the winning team. The Top 4 teams also receive Provincial Trophies, Championship T-shirts and Vancouver Bandits Game Tickets and Gear.
3. ELIGIBILITY for the BC Gr9 Boys 2022 PROVINCIAL 3×3 CHAMPIONSHIPS
- Any Grade 9 player who is not in the Grade 9 Provincials. (example- if you just played in the BC Junior Boys Provincials- you are eligible).
- You must all be from the same school. You may have up to 2 grade 8’s per team.
- Any Grade 8 player who registered and played on a Grade 8 or Grade 9/Juvenile BC high school basketball team this season is eligible.
- Your school team can not be active, meaning that is they have finished their season.
An example of an active (thus not eligible) team is a team that is competing at the BC Gr 9 Provincials or any of the Senior boys tiers.
- Each school can enter a maximum of 2 teams. Consideration may be given for a 3rd team by request.
- Teams must be composed of players from the same school.
4. Round Robin and Elimination Games start at 9:00 Saturday March 5 at Semiahmoo and Earl Marriot and go all day. Round robin play continues until the Final Four are determined. Those Final Four teams will be seeded and they will play the following day at Semiahmoo, Sunday March 6 at 2:00 (checkin at 12:30) for the Championship in the main gym just prior to the Provincial Final Four games.
5. This is a possession fast break timed and refereed game in the half court.
