Vancouver Bandits and the BC Gr9 Boys Provincial 3×3 Championships

The Tournament Directors are very grateful for the support of the Vancouver Bandits. We are excited about being able to keep this event’s team registration free of charge. There are great awards and swag provided by the Vancouver Bandits, Action Athletics and the BCGr9 Boys Provincials for the Final Four teams. Our goal is to provide a competitive and exciting event for up to 200 Gr9 and 8 basketball players (see eligibility rules), whose high school teams have not qualified for the Provincials, but who aren’t quite ready to finish their season. Last year the Finals of the 3×3 Provincial Championships took place in front of a capacity crowd just prior to the Team Provincial Final 4. This was very exciting for the 3×3 Final 4 teams, Burnaby South Rebels, St. Thomas More Knights, St George’s Saints and Surrey Christian School Falcons. This year we expect the competition to be intense and a lot of fun (just like the Bandit’s games).

ps we would also like to mention that the Bandits’ President, Dylan Kular, is a WJMouat Grad who received All-Star recognition for his play in the 2007 BC Gr9 Boys Provincial Invitational Basketball Championships.

We welcome all Grade 8 and Grade 9 boys across the province to join us in Surrey on Saturday, March 4th for the BC High School Grade 9 Boys Provincial 3×3 Championships. The Finals for the 3×3 Championships will be Sunday, March 5th at Earl Marriott Secondary.

If your team did not make the Provincials we, in partnership with BC High School 26th Annual Grade 9 Boys Invitational Basketball Championships, have created a free-to-play 3×3 tournament where your school has a chance to win a bursary for your school.

Donation to School and Players in form of bursary or scholarship:

1st Place – $500

2nd Place – $250

3rd Place – $150

4th Place – $100

Plus prizes from Vancouver Bandits Basketball.

3×3 Basketball is now an Olympic sport and popularity is growing in North America. We welcome you to register up to 2 teams per school of Grade 8 and/or Grade 9 players.
