Day 1 – Opening Round Action

Proving that this year was the hardest to seed, #19 and #20 seeded teams won.  #19 seed Elgin Park Orcas over #14 seed Mark Isfeld Ice, 63 – 48 and #20 seed McMath Wildcats defeating #13 seed Charles Tupper Tigers 70 – 51.

Burnaby Mountain Lions took an early lead and beat Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers 52 – 26. And OKM Huskies won a tight game by defeating Richmond Colts 51 – 43.
