2023 Provincial 3×3

Our 2022 Goal for the 2023 PROVINCIAL 3×3 CHAMPIONSHIPS

We want to provide a (no cost) opportunity for 100 to 200 young high school basketball players, whose teams did not make the Provincials, to compete for a Championship in a very competitive environment in front of a gym full of fans.

And here are The BC Gr9 Boys 2023 PROVINCIAL 3×3 CHAMPIONSHIPS

1. No entry fee.

2. Last year’s $500 Basketball Bursary has been doubled to $1,000 this year ($500 for 1st, $250 for 2nd, $150 for 3rd and $100 for 4th).  This is for the recipients’ basketball development like gear, fees and training.  The Top 4 teams also receive Provincial trophies, Championship T-shirts and Vancouver Bandits Tickets and swag.

3.  ELIGIBILITY for the BC Gr9 Boys 2023 PROVINCIAL 3×3 CHAMPIONSHIPS
– Any Grade 9 player who registered and played BC high school basketball this season is eligible.
– Any Grade 8 player who registered and played on a Grade 8 or Grade 9/Juvenile BC high school basketball team this season is eligible.
NOTE: Each team can have a maximum of 2 Grade 8’s per team.
– Your school team can not be active, meaning that is they have finished their season.
An example of an active (thus not eligible) team is a team that is competing at the BC Gr 9 Provincials or any of the Senior boys tiers.
– Each school can enter a maximum of 2 teams.
– Teams must be composed of players from the same school.
