Kits overtook South in the 3rd quarter after trailing 28-24 at the half. In a decisive 3rd quarter, Kits pulled away outscoring South 17-4. South fought back in the 4th but Kits traded points with the final ending at 55 – 43 for Kits. Boyd took 3rd in a tough defensive game over Van College 36-33.
