Pitt upset in the opening round

#4 Seed, Fraser Valley Champion, Pitt Meadows was upset by #13 Seed, Pleasant Valley Saints from the Okanagan, 67 – 64 in opening round play on Thursday on the strength of Player of the Game Mitchell Goodwin’s incredible play scoring 29 in the game, 23 of which were in the first half.  Several veteran Tournament observers felt that Mitchell Goodwin’s play was likely the best half by any player in the BC Gr9 Championships opening round ever.
