Onto Centennial for the 27th Tournament

The newly renamed 27th Annual Grade 9 Boys Basketball Invitational Tournament will be returning to Centennial Secondary School where we had a 4 year run in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Centennial has established itself as an excellent basketball facility with 2 full courts (the “Blue” and “Red” Gyms) with great seating and new scoreboard electronics. The Red Gym has just been built and the Blue Gym was recently fully refurbished.

The Tournament will begin:
Thurs Feb 29 – Blue Gym
4 games 3:30 to 8:00

Fri Mar 1 – ⁠Red and Blue Gyms
8:30 to 6:00 last game start then banquet at 7:30 to 9:30
Specialty event eliminations in the afternoon

Sat Mar 2 – ⁠Red and Blue Gyms
9:00 to 6:30 then to Blue gym for Semi-Finals at 7:00 and 8:30

Sun Mar 3 – Red and Blue Gyms
8:30 start and early games ending by 1:00
shifting to Blue Gym for 1:30 Open with O Canada, FN Blessing, Specialty Event Finals, 3 x 3 Finals
3:00 3rd – 4th place game
4:30 – Championship Game
6:00 – Awards for 30 min
