Dr. Knox Middle School and Penticton High became the first teams to qualify for the 2008 Provincials taking the Interior #1 and #2 spots

Following our goal of showcasing not only the best teams in the province we are now extending that to include more players.  We are most pleased to welcome the Inaugural year of the Provincial 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 Gr 9 Boys Provincial Championships.  Eliminations will be held as part of the Provincials on Thursday and Friday mornings with the Final Four games on Friday night, March 7 in the main gym and Saturday afternoon for the 1st and 2nd place games as well as 3rd and 4th place.  A Perpetual Provincial Trophy in both events (with the winning team members names engraved) will be given to your school for one year.  Each member of each final four team will receive awards.

If your high school team did not make the Sweet Sixteen Provincial teams then your school may enter two 3 on 3 Teams.  If two 3 on 3 Teams are entered, your school may also enter two 1 on 1 players.  Entry deadline is March 2, 12:00 noon.  However there is a limited number of spots available.  Please check the Records and Rules pages for Entry and Rules Forms.  They will be posted Feb 22.  Remember, this is only open to all Gr 9 Boys High School Teams that do not make the Championships.
