At The WildCard

A big Thank you to Mr Sidhu at Abby Senior, Mr. Ivany at Yale and Mr. Gill at Burnaby Central for hosting the Wildcard games.

Update – Round 2
Game 7 – And for the last BC Berth, McNair Wildcats held on to outlast Yale Lions 45 – 37. Both teams started off tired and had a slow first quarter. McMath keep building leads and Yale would fight right back, great game to watch.

Game 6 – In the most excited game of the Wildcard so far, Elgin Park Orcas defeated Yale Lions 66 – 60 to take the 2nd berth to the BC’s.

Game 5 – In the battle of the ‘Cats at Abbotsford Senior, Burnaby Central Wildcats advances to the BC’s with a 53 – 34 win over McMath Wildcats.

Update – Round 1 Results
At Yale, Elgin Park Orcas advances with a 70 – 47 win over St. George’s Saints and will meet the Yale Lions winners over Terry Fox Ravens 61 – 22.

At Burnaby Central, McMath Wildcats defeated Gladstone Gladiators and 56 – 41 and in a battle of the ‘Cats will face Burnaby Central Wildcats, winners over West Van Highlanders 58 – 28.

The winer of the next 2 games advance to the BC’s and the losers will play later Saturday, with the winner advancing to the BC’s.

Any Grade 9 or Grade 8 player from any team that did not qualify for BC Gr9 Provincials.
